All the staff were freindly and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were delightful and sitting on the balcony watching a mountain storm was fascinating.

Beautifully located and lovely town. Very relaxing and pleasant.

There was no enough of soap to use You do not go for holiday to take all comestics like shampoo or shower gel with you No additional pillow, just single one Bed wasn't for a couple, those were two beds combined with space in between

Excellent accommodations, outstanding service and assistance by front desk staff. Great food and service in all restaurants. Great view from rooms with Balcony. Good internet access and tech assistance from front desk.

Just one suggestion, perhaps a wider selection of English - speaking channels, I.E. bbc, or a movie channel.

Piazza Ascona Hotel and Restaurants was a great experience from the moment we arrived late evening in the rain after travelling all day, until the taxi arrived to take us back to the train . The staff were professional and fun, both in the hotel and adjacent restaurants. The location was perfect and the upstairs rooms looked out onto lake and surrounding mountains. Lovely breakfasts with endless morning coffee . The rooms, while basic, were clean and comfortable. Customer service at its best!

The food in the restaurant was rather salty.

Excellent location facing the lake, surrounded by great restaurants and easy access to old city and boat trip (right opposite the hotel). Free wifi, breakfast. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast.

Pricey for the basic room offered. Noises from the street early morning, late evening. Rooms are very small and not all rooms are with balconies. Parking not on site and with surcharges.

The location was excellent, hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. The view from the rooms was amazing, good breakfast. I would stay there again.

The walls of the rooms were quite thin, however given very little time spent in the rooms it didn't bother me much. Overall I found it great value for the price.

Location and setting is beautiful. The front desk staff is multi-lingual and very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast, which was included, was great plus.

I didn't know to ask for a balcony. Having the window to the lake was nice but a balcony would have been better.

It is a very good three star hotel. Double room was adequate size, clean, and the beds very comforatable....and the view of the lake and surrounding mountains was great. Only stayed one night, but would like to come back and stay longer. Great value for the $$ and location.

Elevator small (one person with luggage), but not unusual for small European hotel
